Join us for an exciting waterfall adventure hike! Not far away from our quiet beach paradise is one of Costa Rica's most beautiful waterfalls - La Biagra Cascada. Your tour starts with a pickup in our private van outside of your cabina. Once all are onboard, we will set off on an approximately 35 minute ride through rural towns and villages and into the hills beyond. Your guide will give a brief history on your surroundings and answer any questions you may have during the short ride. On arrival you are off on a relatively easy and short 15 minute hike down into a river valley on onward to the waterfall! After descending through the jungle into the cool stream, you will be greeted by some truly stunning scenery! A cool stream of crystal clear water with numerous opportunities to spot wildlife will lead to to the natural pool at the bottom of La Biagra Falls. A wade and splash in the cool refreshing water will ease away any stress and transform you from a hurried turista into a truly Tranquilo Tico! Photo opportunites abound as the waterfall and pool have only good angles and every picture is perfect!

You should wear light clothing that you don't mind getting a little dirty and sturdy shoes that you don't mind getting wet, a bathing suit if you plan on going swimming as well as a towel. We also recommend at least a litre of water per person and any snacks you think you might want. Remember - there is no trash can at the waterfall and you are responsible for bringing all of your bottles and food packaging back with you! We solidly believe in the pura vida way of life - take only pictures, leave only footprints.

All participants must be in good health with no back, neck, knee or foot problems. The trail is 100% natural with only rudimentary steps cut into the ground, there are parts of the trail that are mildly steep with no steps.
